Working for our client provides significant benefits compared to regular schools, colleges and other settings:

  • You can progress your career with them. They care about their people, investing in staff development, regularly providing internal CPD training as well as paying for external courses so that they can all develop their skills and careers.
  • Their students are inspiring to work with. They develop a great deal of resilience, discipline and maturity through their main course, which they definitely bring to the classroom. They spend a lot of time away from screens, with animals and in the fresh air. Combined with small group sizes, this leads to a productive, calm and pleasant learning environment where teachers have the chance to make a real difference.
  • It's a wonderful environment to work in. Our client is well known within racing for being welcoming and friendly. Staff have a clarity of purpose and a sense of togetherness that shines through and fits the beautiful surroundings of Rossington Hall.
  • You won't be micromanaged. Their leadership understand that professionals want clear direction, while being trusted to carry out their duties effectively. Working at our client provides that feeling you get from the best managers, that you are trusted and supported.
  • Workloads are reasonable. This is not a typical school environment where they expect several hours a week of unpaid overtime. Their teachers have a much healthier work-life balance, and they don't expect you to take work home. If you do have a busy period, paid overtime or time in lieu can be agreed with your Line Manager.
  • Holidays are flexible. They have some learners year-round and others on term-time courses. While they often do take their holidays when the schools are off due to it being quieter, there is the option to take them when the flights are cheaper if that suits you.

The selected applicant will be asked to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

The College meets equality and diversity, health and safety and safeguarding children and young people requirements.
