This role requires someone with a strong background in the subject matter, who is dedicated to fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment, where students are encouraged to explore and develop their scientific curiosity.

• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge to develop students understanding and progression.
• Develop and deliver engaging and effective science lesson plans that align with the school curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Establish strong collaborative relationships with students and staff in order to facilitate students’ learning journey.
• Evaluate student progression and adapt teaching methods to facilitate individual needs and abilities.

• A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT.
• Genuine passion for science and a commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
• Enhanced DBS and registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
