We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our dynamic educational team within Secondary Schools in and around Newport. The successful candidate will facilitate a love for science among students, using engaging teaching methods to ignite curiosity and inspire critical thinking.This role requires someone with a strong background in the subject matter, who is dedicated to fostering a stimulating and supportive learning environment, where students are encouraged to explore and develop their scientific curiosity.
Successful Candidate Criteria- Strong subject and curriculum knowledge to develop students understanding and progression.
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective science lesson plans that align with the school curriculum.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with students and staff in order to facilitate students’ learning journey.
- Evaluate student progression and adapt teaching methods to facilitate individual needs and abilities.
- A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or QTS/NQT.
- Genuine passion for science and a commitment to supporting students’ academic and personal development.
- Enhanced DBS and registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
