- Ensuring all audits are completed to a high standard and within agreed deadlines.
- Leading and mentoring a team of auditors.
- Providing expert advice to clients on audit and financial matters.
- Working closely with other department managers to improve audit processes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Contributing to the firm's business development activities.
The Successful Applicant
A successful 'Audit Manager' should have:
- A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance, ACA or ACCA.
- Proven experience in managing audits and a team of auditors.
- Excellent understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Office based (occasional Hybrid offered)
- A competitive salary ranging from £40,500 to £49,500 per annum.
