Job Description

As an Interim Finance Assistant duties will include but are not limited to:

• Process invoices and ensure accurate data entry into financial systems.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and monitor accounts for discrepancies.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Manage petty cash and handle payment transactions efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and organised financial records for auditing purposes.
• Assist with budget tracking and expenditure monitoring.
• Provide support for month-end and year-end financial processes.
• Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Finance Assistant should have:

• Worked in a similar role previously
• A strong understanding of financial processes and systems.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• An organised approach with excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.

• An hourly rate equivalent of £30,000-£32,000 depending on experience.
• An Interim Finance Assistant position within a respected Not For Profit organisation.
• Work based in Bolton, Greater Manchester, offering a supportive environment.
