Health Care assistant

Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team.

• quality care to individuals in various settings, including home care and care homes.

A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations.

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
• Support the development and implementation of individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

• Previous experience in home care or a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
• Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication purposes is beneficial.
• Strong command of English language skills for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
• A valid driving licence is preferred for travelling between client locations.
