Are you a CCAB qualified accountant looking for your next career step? An exciting development opportunity has arisen in the Corporate Finance Team for a Financial Planning and Performance Accountant. This varied role will provide support for the Trust’s financial planning, reporting and performance function, alongside delivering a high-quality financial management service for the division of Trust Services.
This post provides financial support to the Head of Financial Planning & Performance (HoFPP) and the Head of Strategic Finance (HoSF) and is responsible for:- · Assisting the HoFPP, on the construction, development and maintenance of complex financial models to produce the Trust’s annual and medium-term revenue plan, maintaining up-to-date and relevant supporting information.
- · Assisting the HoSF by providing analytical support for any strategic service planning, integration and financial due diligence required on third party organisations, including financial assessment/appraisal of major service reconfigurations, transfers and developments.
- · Supporting the HOFPP and HoSF with financial input into agreed corporate projects, service developments and/or APC transfers requiring financial assessment, and where required, in accordance with the Trust’s Capital Investment Policy and Building Better Business Cases.
- · Assisting the HoFPP with internal and external reporting requirements.
- · Providing a high quality, pro-active management accounting service for the division of Trust Services
