Due to ongoing success and company expansion, my client are looking to add to their skilled design team with the addition of an Electrical Design Engineer.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. If you're a driven & highly motivated person wishing to craft out a successful and rewarding future in what is a truly unique environment, this could be the role for you. You will be working on a variety of projects for products which are manufactured and supplied to all parts of the globe.
THE ROLE:
Leading design projects for customers.
Attend specification meetings with customers.
Carry out risk assessments on machinery.
Design Electrical control systems using AutoCAD Electrical and EPLAN.
Write and develop PLC code for machine control using Rockwell and Beckhoff.
Write and develop HMI code for operator interfaces using Rockwell and Zenon.
Commissioning of packaging machinery.
THE PERSON:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
5+ years relevant experience
Effective negotiation skills.
Troubleshooting, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Programming using Rockwell, Beckhoff and Zenon software.
Engineering Design using AutoCAD electrical or EPLAN.
