THE ROLE
We’re looking for a Multi Skilled Operator (Production and Editing) to join our in-house team in London. This is a hands-on, highly versatile role where you’ll work across the full production cycle: from shooting content to post-producing edits, including work for broadcast, digital, social, and commercial clients.
The ideal candidate will be a confident camera operator (ideally familiar with the Sony FX6 and FX3), experienced editor, and capable of producing and directing small-scale shoots when required. You’ll be integral to capturing and delivering engaging esports content and supporting the production team across a variety of formats and platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate cameras (with a focus on Sony FX6 and FX3) across studio, location, and event shoots.
- Edit video content for multiple outputs including broadcast, digital and social channels, using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create supporting graphics, transitions, and simple VFX using Adobe After Effects.
- Produce and direct small-scale shoots as required, including scripting, planning, and managing on-set talent and crew.
- Apply strong technical and creative knowledge of post-production techniques and workflows, ensuring smooth integration from shoot to final delivery.
- Collaborate with producers, editors, and creative teams to ensure brand consistency and editorial quality across all content.
- Maintain a high standard of technical and creative quality across all aspects of production and post-production.
- Contribute to the development of internal workflows and post-production best practices.
- Ensure assets are correctly archived and stored for future use.
- Travel occasionally for BLAST events and productions.
- Proven experience as a camera operator with strong working knowledge of Sony FX6 and FX3 or similar cinema cameras.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro with a solid understanding of editing techniques, storytelling, and pacing.
- Competent with Adobe After Effects for motion graphics, text overlays, and simple compositing.
- Demonstrated ability to independently produce and direct small shoots, from planning to delivery.
- Strong understanding of post-production workflows, including file management, codecs, colour correction, audio mixing, and delivery formats.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-output environment.
- A team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for esports, gaming, and digital media.
- Experience working on live or pre-recorded esports broadcasts or gaming-related content.
- Familiarity with multi-cam production environments.
- Working knowledge of audio capture and basic lighting setups.
- Previous experience operating in a hybrid production-post production role.
