About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Secondary Science Teacher to join their committed team at a well-respected school in Kidderminster. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking science lessons, fostering curiosity and a love for learning across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.You will play a key role in ensuring students develop strong scientific knowledge and skills while achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based Science lessons to secondary students
- Inspire students with a passion for scientific exploration and critical thinking
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing targeted support where needed
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Science examinations, ensuring strong subject understanding
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that meets diverse learning needs
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student outcomes
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular STEM activities and science clubs
- Maintain high expectations for student behaviour, engagement, and academic achievement
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching secondary Science, ideally across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, and/or Physics
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- A commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment
