The Company
Automotivate is an exciting new business venture which provides consultancy and advisory services as well as training assistance, fleet management expertise and credit facility guidance for business owners who run light commercial vehicles. They have recently launched their own dealership in Oxfordshire selling all makes of vans and converted vehicles.
They are a sales agent for a reputable minibus converter whose product they sell from their showroom. They can source any make and model for their customer base offering commercial vehicle solutions.
The roleAutomotivate is looking for a Driver/Yard person to join their expanding team.
Responsibilities include:
- Driving with a trailer towing up to 3.5t to various locations including customer sites and moving vehicles around the yard as required.
- Hand over vehicles with end-user clients of specialist and standard vehicles.
- Use technology such as handheld devices for vehicle check-in and check-out.
- Assess vehicle damages.
- Ensuring the site is presented well, keeping it clean by sweeping and cleaning as required.
You will have previous experience of working as a driver/yard person. You will have a passion for the automotive industry and be able to develop relationships effortlessly. You will have the appropriate licence to drive with a trailer towing up to 3.5t. You will have a fine eye for detail as you will need to assess damaged vehicles, be conscientious and have a positive can-do attitude.
On offerSalary: between £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours of work: 0900-1700 Monday to Friday, the company would also offer a 4 day week if required.
