£38,000 - £43,000 Basic Salary + Company Vehicle + Bonus + £5 Daily Lunch Allowance + 8% Comp. Pension + Overtime (£32ph)

The Role of the Field Service Engineer:

  • You will be based from home, repairing and installing a range of strapping machines.
  • Equipment used within various industries such as food, construction, pharma, and distribution found at the end of the production or packaging line.
  • Visiting a range of well-known and prestigious clients.
  • Conducting installations (25% of the role) and responding to breakdown calls (75% of you time).
  • The role is 50% mechanical, 50% electrical, so will suit a multiskilled engineer
  • A Mon - Fri role working 45 hours (including travel time). Most experienced engineers are working 38 - 40 hours per week.

The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer:

  • Hold a formal engineering qualification such as City and Guilds, HNC, HND, NVQ, apprenticeship or an electrical qualification.
  • You'll have previous field service experience or have been an engineer within the armed forces.
  • Multiskilled background
  • Basic understanding of PLC fault finding (training can be provided)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Good administrative and accurate reporting
  • Hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have right to work in the UK without sponsorship

The Package for the Field Service Engineer:

  • £38,000 - £43,000 Basic Salary, depending on experience
  • Company bonus + £5 daily lunch allowance + company credit card
  • Weekend overtime available paid at £32ph
  • Company vehicle (Electric or Hybrid)
  • Pension (8% company contribution), Mobile, Tablet
  • Death in Service (4x Salary)
  • Specialist tools, uniform, PPE provided
  • Ongoing manufacturers training
  • 25 days holiday plus stats plus an extra day for your Birthday
