Job Description
Day to day, you'll draft, review and provide advice and support on commercial contracts (local and international) including confidentiality agreements, parent company guarantees, collateral warranties* Manage current and new intellectual property including patent applications and liaise with external patent attorney- Liaise with external law firms where required
- Handle highly confidential correspondence and commercial negotiations, including legal disputes
- Undertake training of employees in various areas of law as necessary
The Successful Applicant
The successful Senior Solicitor should have:
- Qualified solicitor, with proven post qualification experience of at least two years.
- Commercially astute and solutions driven
- Experience practicing commercial, corporate or projects legal departments. Involvement in the public sector would be advantageous.
- Familiarity with construction models of contract such as NEC/FIDIC/JCT would be a considerable advantage.
- A competitive salary in the range of £75,000-£85,000
