Fire & building Safety Surveyor
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Rate: £30.48 PAYE and £39.42 UMBRELLA
Term: 6 months
Are you passionate about fire safety and building compliance? Join our team as a Fire & Building Safety Surveyor! We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to oversee fire risk assessments for our properties, ensuring the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed fire and building safety surveys, contributing to a comprehensive property database.
- Provide expert advice on property condition, identifying and resolving fire safety issues.
- Prepare detailed specifications and feasibility studies for necessary works.
- Liaise with fire authorities to ensure compliance and timely action on deficiencies.
- Maintain effective communication with staff, residents, and stakeholders, ensuring top-notch customer service.
Essential Skills:
- NEBOSH fire qualification or equivalent.
- RICS accredited degree plus a postgraduate surveying qualification.
- Proven experience as a fire/building surveyor in a maintenance environment.
- Strong knowledge of building regulations, codes of practise, and the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
