Role:
Teaching Personnel are seeking a creative and passionate Art and Design Technology Teacher to join our school. You will deliver engaging lessons, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of students with SEMH and autism. Working alongside a supportive team, you will help students build confidence and develop their creative skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Art and DT to secondary students with SEMH and autism.
- Create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
- Implement behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student progress.
- Assess student development and provide feedback.
Essential:
- QTS or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Art/DT, ideally in a SEMH/autism setting.
- Strong behavior management skills and a creative teaching approach.
Desirable:
- Experience in special education.
- Knowledge of autism and SEMH needs.
