Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester

If so, Teaching Personnel has an opportunity that could prove to be a perfect fit for yourself. We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic psychology graduate to work as a teaching assistant in a secondary school within the Manchester area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with their academic and personal development, as well as assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting students with their academic work, including one-to-one support and small group work.
  • Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Providing pastoral support to students, including mentoring and counselling.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related subject.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and working with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
