Job Description

Job Reference: SP-MJ-CCC1 Closing Date: 11th October 2024

Responsible to: You will be directly responsible to your employer.

Main Tasks:

To support and socialise with the lady within her household. To help aid the lady with general activities around the home.

To be pro-active and liaise with the lady and your employer regarding potential activities, all to be agreed with both.

To support the lady with taking her medication and meal preparation.

Give due regard to Health and Safety within the household.

If you are required to transport the lady, access to a car with appropriate business insurance cover and full clean driving licence is desirable.

Any other duties which may fall within the scope of this role, to be discussed and mutually agreed.

Undertake any further training, as mutually agreed.

Personal Specification:

To establish a professional standard of care, to be maintained at all times.

To undertake the role with due regard to the lady’s social needs.

Be trustworthy and kind.

Respect and safeguard the goods and property of the family.

Respect the privacy of the family and uphold confidentiality at all times.

Be punctual and reliable and have some degree of flexibility.

Bear in mind that the role is one of empowerment for the lady.

Be enthusiastic and open to new experiences.

Special Conditions:

A Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and two satisfactory references are conditional for the post. This is a free and confidential process.
