Dunottar School - Teacher of Music (part time, fixed term)
The successful candidate will be dedicated to delivering high-quality music education and will fully embrace the ethos and values of both the Music Department and Dunottar School.
We are looking for someone who can inspire and engage students, creating a stimulating environment that encourages musical exploration and growth. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to both the academic and extracurricular life of the school and will work collaboratively with colleagues to uphold the department’s standards and goals.
This role is open to applicants from both early career teachers, eager to develop their skills in a supportive environment, as well as experienced teachers who can bring their expertise and passion to our school community. We are looking for someone who can contribute positively to our vibrant and creative learning environment while helping to shape the future of music education at Dunottar School.
Alongside a KS3-KS4 teaching timetable, the successful candidate would be involved in shaping and delivering the following exciting and varied co-curricular and extra-curricular music events at Dunottar School:
- 3 concerts a year
- Scholars Showcase
- 3 x Live Lounge events
- Concert trips to London
- Informal lunchtime concerts
- Local concerts
- Outreach work with local primary schools
