About Our Client

A new opportunity for an Entry Level Accounts Assistant to work for a growing business based in Guildford.

• Assist with daily financial operations, ensuring accurate records of payments, receipts, and invoices.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
• Process payments to suppliers and manage invoices for timely settlement.
• Help maintain and update financial databases to support business operations.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and provide data analysis to support decision-making.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
• Provide general administrative support to the finance team as needed.

• A strong academic background with a solid understanding of maths and finance principles.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks.
• Problem-solving abilities, particularly in identifying and addressing financial discrepancies.
• Prior experience in finance or accounting is beneficial but not essential, as long as you have a strong interest and willingness to learn.
• May be studying towards an accountancy qualification
