Job Description

The successful Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:

• Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of financial records
• Supporting the senior Accountant in the process of budgeting and forecasting
• Ensuring all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
• Liaising with auditors when necessary
• Implementing and maintaining financial policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assisting with the preparation of VAT returns

The Successful Applicant

A successful senior Accounts Assistant should have:

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Good understanding of accounting and financial principles
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
