Are you looking to make a difference? You don’t have to be an expert to transform lives…

At Via, we care about helping people overcome substance misuse and we feel that employment goes hand in hand with recovery. Our award-winning IPS Into Work teams support people to find meaningful employment that aligns with their ambitions so that they have a platform to build a brighter future.

Do you want to do something meaningful and help others? If the answer is yes, this could be the perfect job for you!

The Role

It is extremely rewarding, and you can make a lasting positive impact! A normal week would involve:

  • Working closely with people to provide a personalised employment service supporting them achieve their dreams.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including recovery practitioners, nurses, support workers and community organisations to promote and encourage referrals.
  • Engaging employers to develop partnerships.

If this role intrigues you – we can’t wait to hear from you!

The Service

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) is an evidence-based employment support model that helps individuals with a background in mental health and/or substance misuse work towards their employment goals through personalised support that aligns with their wellbeing.

Here are a few quotes from those that have transformed their lives through our help:

“I had been drifting and my confidence had sunk… IPS helped change my life”

“I got the help that I was looking for… I found work after 17 years of being unemployed”
