• Assist in the preparation of annual and quarterly budgets
• Produce financial reports and conduct regular financial analysis
• Support the month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure accuracy of financial documents, as well as compliance with relevant legislation
• Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial procedures
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Manage and monitor grants
• Participate in financial standards setting and in the forecast process

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands-on experience with accounting software
• Strong analytical skills with a thorough attention to detail
• Excellent numerical skills and understanding of data privacy standards
