We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join our passionate team.
Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Science Teacher to teach across all 3 subject. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans, teaching scientific principles, and fostering critical thinking through hands-on experiments and activities.
The position involves encouraging students to develop problem-solving skills, prepare for assessments, and cultivate a love for science.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons for KS3 - KS5
- Teach key concepts in Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Design and conduct experiments and practical activities to enhance student understanding.
- Promote a hands-on, inquiry-based learning environment.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and development.
- Ensure lessons align with curriculum guidelines and academic standards.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support student learning.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences, school meetings, and professional development sessions.
- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Teaching certification or license (where applicable).
- Previous teaching experience in science (preferred, but not required).
- Strong understanding of scientific principles and the ability to convey them effectively.
- Passion for teaching and engaging students in scientific exploration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire students to think critically and analytically.
