Hours: 21 hours per week

The Role of a Care Support Worker:
As a Care Support Worker, you will be an essential part of our client’s day-to-day life, providing personalised care and companionship. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping duties (cleaning, vacuuming, bathroom maintenance)
  • Providing personal care and supporting hygiene needs
  • Administering medication as needed
  • Offering companionship and building strong relationships with the client
  • Supporting the client on walks and to medical appointments
  • Assisting with other household tasks, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Participating in activities authorised by Marigold Home Care
Skills and Attributes We’re Looking For: Filipino speaker or from the Philippines – This is essential to provide culturally sensitive care.
  • Experience in personal care and a professional, caring demeanour
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to remain sensitive to the needs of the individual, providing compassionate care with
  • dignity

Requirements:

  • Care worker experience
  • Ability to provide employment references
  • DBS clearance (Online DBS is an advantage)
