Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? Do you have a love for teaching English and the ability to inspire and engage students in a supportive and nurturing environment?If so, we would love to hear from you!
We are working with a specialist school in Basingstoke dedicated to supporting students with SEMH needs.Their small class sizes (up to 8 pupils per class) allow for focused, tailored teaching, ensuring each student receives the attention they deserve.- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Support students with SEMH needs, helping them overcome barriers to learning
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized learning plans
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs is preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for vulnerable students
- Weekly CPD
- Small class sizes for effective teaching and relationship-building
- Ongoing professional development opportunities
- A supportive and collaborative team environment
- Collaboration with the local schools to allow for sharing of best practices.
