As an Assistant Education Mental Health Practitioner, youll play a key role in our Mental Health Support Team (MHST), collaborating with schools and education settings to deliver innovative interventions. Working with children and young people with mild to moderate mental health needs, youll help them develop the tools and confidence to thrive.
Youll deliver evidence-based activities, from individual appointments to group sessions, under the guidance of experienced practitioners. Contributing to the Whole School Approach, youll facilitate sessions such as workshops and assemblies while promoting public health initiatives.
By creating and sharing tailored resources, youll make mental health support accessible and meaningful. Building strong relationships with schools, families, and partner agencies will be essential, as will maintaining accurate records to support effective decision-making.
