School Business Manager

Position Type: Full-Time

You will work closely with senior leadership teams to provide strategic financial planning and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the financial operations across five schools
• Developing and monitoring budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Overseeing procurement and ensuring value for money
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
• Managing payroll and HR functions
• Leading and developing a team of administrative staff
• Coordinating with external auditors and managing audits
• Supporting the headteachers and governors with financial decision-making
• Ensuring efficient use of resources and facilities management
• Implementing and maintaining risk management strategies

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in a school business management or financial management role
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Office
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
