As a Class Teacher who is the teacher development lead you will be responsible for 1 class in collaboration with the ABA Supervisor (direct teaching time .6).
The main purpose of the Teacher Development Lead job:
The Teacher Development Lead will work directly with the Deputy Headteacher. They will lead the teaching team in exemplary lesson planning, assessment/pupil progress, and teaching strategies. As directed by the SLT and in line with school development priorities, they will observe and coach teachers (often trainees and ECTs), co-teach with them, and model teaching strategies, while continuing to teach some portion of the time (potentially 3 classrooms per year – 1 per term).The successful candidate will be pivotal in showcasing and sharing best teaching and curriculum practices across the school.
