Do you have a passion for records? Join Atlas Records as a Record Buyer!

Atlas Records is looking for an enthusiastic Record Buyer to oversee the entire purchasing process, from initial contact with sellers to making final offers. If you love vinyl, can spot rare gems, and enjoy building strong relationships, this could be the perfect role for you!

About You: While we offer comprehensive training, some knowledge of records is preferred. Understanding the difference in value between a Jim Reeves record and a rare Smiths album would be an excellent starting point! This role would suit someone with a background in sales who excels at building rapport and has a passion for records.

What We Offer:

  • Full training provided in all aspects of the role.
  • A chance to work in a vibrant, music-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to seller enquiries via phone and email.
  • Organising shipping labels for collections to be sent to us.
  • Valuing record collections using our internal systems, and communicating offers to potential sellers.
  • Sorting and managing stock after purchases are made.
  • Handling excess stock, including selling via e Bay and building relationships with local record dealers.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong written communication skills in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – you can build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Competence in using Google Docs and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems is a bonus (but not essential).

Why Join Atlas Records? At Atlas Records, you’ll be part of a community of music lovers, working with unique collections and contributing to a thriving industry. Whether you’re a seasoned record aficionado or just getting started, if you’re passionate about music and enjoy connecting with people, we’d love to hear from you!

Please upload a CV & short cover letter/summary (100 words) detailing why you believe you'd be great for the role.
