Acorn By Synergie is working in partnership with a leading main contractor that is looking for a freelance Design Manager (Construction)
Freelance position on a week by week bases. Will be based on a large commercial project in Cardiff South Wales. Project value £100M+
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing all aspects of the design and construction process for a commercial project
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Managing budgets, schedules, and quality control
- Resolving design and construction issues effectively
- Providing leadership and mentorship to the project team
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
- Extensive experience in construction design management
- Proven track record of delivering successful commercial project
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hourly rate / day rate negotiable, working Monday to Friday
