As we continue to grow, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our dynamic team.

Leadership and Staff Management

Team Supervision: Manage and lead the pharmacy team, including pharmacists, dispensers, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.

Training and Development: Mentor and train staff to ensure competency and adherence to pharmacy protocols and regulations.
Scheduling: Organize staff rotas to maintain adequate coverage during operational hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Performance Management: Conduct performance reviews, set goals, and address any issues regarding team performance or behavior.
Operational Management
Workflow Optimization: Oversee the pharmacy’s workflow, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in prescription processing and customer service.
Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, order medications, and ensure proper storage conditions, reducing waste and avoiding stockouts.
Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, including infection control standards.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all pharmacy equipment is functioning correctly and arrange for timely maintenance or replacement as necessary.
Regulatory Compliance
Legal Requirements: Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Documentation and Record Keeping: Oversee accurate record-keeping for prescriptions, controlled substances, and other regulatory documentation.
Audits and Inspections: Prepare for and manage internal and external audits or inspections.
Patient Care and Services
Customer Relations: Uphold excellent standards of patient care, providing a welcoming and professional service for all customers.
Consultation Services: Oversee patient consultations, ensuring that advice on medications, health concerns, and treatments meets professional standards.
Expanded Services: Promote and implement additional pharmacy services, such as vaccinations, health screenings, and smoking cessation programs.
Financial Management
Budgeting: Manage the pharmacy’s budget effectively, ensuring profitability while maintaining excellent service quality.
Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities for revenue growth, such as expanding services or improving operational efficiency.

Expense Oversight: Monitor expenses, including payroll, supplies, and inventory, to ensure financial sustainability.

Strategic Planning

Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with the local community, healthcare providers, and organizations to position the pharmacy as a trusted healthcare provider.

Business Development: Identify market trends and potential areas for growth, adjusting services or products to meet community needs.
Technology Implementation: Stay informed about advancements in pharmacy technology and implement relevant systems to improve service delivery.
Crisis and Risk Management
Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any operational or customer service issues promptly and effectively.
Emergency Planning: Develop contingency plans for emergencies, such as staffing shortages or supply chain disruptions.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure the pharmacy’s continued compliance and operational success.
Personal and Professional Development
Ongoing Education: Stay updated on changes in pharmacy regulations, best practices, and emerging healthcare trends.
Team Development: Encourage team members to pursue professional development opportunities.
Networking: Build professional relationships within the healthcare industry to enhance the pharmacy’s reputation and services.

Working Hours: Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
