With an annual gross revenue budget of £294m and a capital budget of £25m, our Finance Team ensures resources are effectively managed to provide the best policing services to the community.
Your Role and Responsibilities: -Finance Technician -Hatfield, Hertfordshire- Maintain the integrity of financial reporting through reconciliations and analysis.
- Assist in the annual closure of Constabulary and PCC accounts.
- Provide financial support to budget holders across the organisation.
- Support Assistant Accountants in producing timely and accurate financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
- What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced financial environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

This role is based at Titan Court in Hatfield with a flexible hybrid working model (home and office-based work).
