As a Finance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of Hertfordshire Constabulary. With an annual gross revenue budget of £294m and a capital budget of £25m, our Finance Team ensures resources are effectively managed to provide the best policing services to the community.

• Maintain the integrity of financial reporting through reconciliations and analysis.
• Assist in the annual closure of Constabulary and PCC accounts.
• Provide financial support to budget holders across the organisation.
• Support Assistant Accountants in producing timely and accurate financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and procedures.
• What We’re Looking For:
• Experience in financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced financial environment.
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.

This role is based at Titan Court in Hatfield with a flexible hybrid working model (home and office-based work).
