Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure punctuality and professional appearance.
• Manage access to the building, verifying ID when necessary.
• Promote wellbeing and healthy eating practices.
• Act as a key person for assigned children, maintaining records and liaising with parents/carers.
• Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment aligned with Ofsted standards.
• Support multicultural awareness and inclusive practices.
• Follow health and safety, safeguarding, and nursery policies rigorously.
• Attend staff meetings, planning sessions, and training as required.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Nursery Nurse: Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification.
• Experience:
• Nursery experience: 1 year (required).
• Childcare: 1 year (required).
• Relocation/Commute:
• Must reliably commute or relocate to Derby before starting.
