Job overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated Registered Healthcare Practitioner with excellent leadership, communication and clinical practice skills.
This is a fantastic time to join our organisation as we redesign our structure and focus on new and exciting workstreams.
This role will be pivotal to the growth of our education provision in line with our new workforce, digital and clinical strategies.
You will need a flexible approach to working across the trust and have the desire to work alongside our learners and work with external partners in relation to pre-registration education provision.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will lead on the development of a quality assurance education process for all clinical (non-medical) programmes of education provided by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust under the direction /support of the Assistant Director of Nursing Midwifery and AHP workforce &safe staffing.
The post holder will ensure effective governance processes are in place across the Trust for pre-registration programmes.

Qualifications
Essential criteria- Registered Health Care Practitioner
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience
- Management/ leadership Qualification
- Recognised teaching qualification
Experience
Essential criteria- Experience in a management position/team leadership
- Evidence of planning implementing and evaluating curriculum requirements for post registration healthcare professional programmes
- Experience of managing placement capacity
- Experience of managing a team
- Track record of innovation and change management
- Experience of working with external stakeholders eg. HEI; NHS Partners
- Understanding of the NHS Long term plan
- Excellent knowledge of best practice across the spectrum of national training requirements
- Excellent organisational capabilities
- Excellent time management
- Previous experience of working in a busy training and development environment.
- Evidence of research capabilities
- Experience in policy development
