Legal Cashier - Manchester

The Cost Team at DWF are hiring for a Legal Cashier position based in Manchester.
The role is hybrid based, working from the office 2-3 days a week. This is an opportunity for a talented legal cashier or accounts assistant to join our Legal Cashiering team.
Responsibilities:
As a Legal Cashier, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing cashiering support and evaluation for the firm across all cashiering duties (BACS/faster payments/CHAPs/cheques).
- Assist with cheques to be produced for local and regional offices.
- Consider all new requested information in line with agreed Service Standards/ISO Procedures and SAR requirements.
- Monitor and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions.
- Support with the maintenance of the cashiering queries inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses are delivered to stakeholders.
What will help you succeed in this role? :
There are some specific skills and experience we are looking for from candidates.
Essential:
- Have demonstratable experience in a legal cashiering role, those with experience in a fast-paced financial role.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, along with other Microsoft packages.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of CHAPS, BACS and Faster Payments.
- Detail oriented approach with significant emphasis on achieving a high quality of work. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
