Nursery Room Leader – Baby Room

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baby Nursery Room Leader to join our client’s growing nursery team. In this role, you will provide high-quality care for babies while leading a team of nursery practitioners. You will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports babies’ early development.

The nursery is housed in a beautifully renovated building with a large garden and outdoor space for children to explore and enjoy. Our client is committed to ongoing personal and professional development, offering opportunities for training and career growth.

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
• Proven experience in a senior role within a nursery setting
• A thorough understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A compassionate and nurturing approach to working with babies

• Plan and deliver a range of creative and engaging activities that support the development of babies in line with the EYFS framework
• Lead and mentor a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance, support, and training as needed
• Build strong and collaborative relationships with parents and families, ensuring clear and effective communication
• Ensure that the nursery environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning for all babies
• Maintain accurate records of each child's development and progress, and conduct regular observations and assessments
• Work in partnership with other room leaders and colleagues to create a cohesive and inclusive nursery environment
