Project Manager - Water - Birmingham

You will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Birmingham operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.
This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working and flexibility to manage projects closest to home.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
- Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
- Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
- Coordinating with subcontractors are client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
- Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
- Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Proven successful track record in managing infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects from inception through to completion within the water industry
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
- Sound leadership and people management skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence.
