You will be joining a high-profile and established main contractor based in Birmingham operating in the water sector. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.

Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader in the industry and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Project Manager to join their team.

This is a full-time permanent position with hybrid working and flexibility to manage projects closest to home.

Your new role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Overseeing all aspects of project delivery from inception through to completion and handover
  • Creating and maintaining project programmes as well as producing forecasts and procurement schedules
  • Monitoring and reviewing financial and delivery performance
  • Coordinating with subcontractors are client regarding health and safety inspections and audits
  • Liaising with delivery teams and coordinating site activities to ensure project programmes are maintained
  • Ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to specified quality.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you must have:

  • Proven successful track record in managing infrastructure and/or non-infrastructure projects from inception through to completion within the water industry
  • Strong understanding of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and health and safety
  • Sound leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with key project stakeholders at all levels.
  • Full UK driving licence.
