The CNWL Temporary Staffing Service offers flexible working patterns which supports you and the Trust, and can also provide frequent work for those with regular availability and previous NHS nursing background.

The post holder will deliver high quality safe nursing care, ensuring consistently high standards of practice and clinical excellence which comply with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of professional conduct.

The role includes looking after children and young people. We want to recruit from different nursing backgrounds, in order to broaden and develop the experience and skill mix available to young people.

We are looking for innovative, dynamic Nurses who are interested in developing their careers within a supportive and highly skilled nursing, medical and therapeutic team. Along with developing your core nursing skills, there are opportunities to develop your therapeutic skills in working closely with our skilled psychology, family therapy and occupational therapy team members.

We’re passionate about young people’s mental health outcomes, and strive to deliver first-class patient-centred, safe and effective care. You will be supporting young people to build resilience, better coping strategies and healthy relationships.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

We work closely with young people and their families to understand their problems, provide a comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, formulation and treatment plan to allow for them to return to their homes safely as quickly as possible. We treat a wide variety of psychiatric illnesses such as psychosis, mania, depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder.
