HGV Class 1 Drivers on Days or Nights for immediate starts in Evesham
Pure Staff are recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers working on days or nights for the following role below.
HGV Class 1 Day and Night Drivers required immediately for temporary work for a client who specialises in Fresh Produce wholesale and distribution nationally. Our customer in Evesham is one of our largest clients based in the Worcestershire area and are well known for treating their drivers well from previous positive feedback.
The customer is looking for HGV Class 1 Day and Night Drivers who are flexible to work Monday-Friday and weekends but also be flexible towards the work due to support their customers' needs.
Our client will be accepting HGV Class 1 Drivers who fit the criteria listed below:
Duties of a Class 1 Driver-- Easy trunking to an RDC or a couple of drops
- Modern, well looked after trucks
- Collection of palletised loads
- 1-4 drops- Depending on the route
- Electric pump truck or forklifted off
- A valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving License
- A minimum of 6 Months experience is essential
- Valid CPC Card
- Valid Digital Card
- Clean Driving License with no more than 6 points (No TT TS MS DR DD) codes.
Start times can vary but we are looking for Class 1 Drivers who are available to start around 07.00am on days, and between 15:00 and 20:00 on nights so flexibility is ideal. Shifts can be long but in keeping with tachograph law up to 10 to 12 hours per shift on average.
Pay rates-
Days: £17.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLYNights: £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday PAYE ONLY
Weekends & Bank Holidays: £19.00 per hour PAYE ONLY
Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book holiday.
