Support Worker - Supported Living

Overview:

We have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join a new team at our brand new Community Supported Living Service Invanhoe, based in Rotherham, S66 9EF.

Salary: £12.00 per hour

Hours: 37.5 per week plus some additional sleep in shifts paid at additional rate. Part time and bank contracts will also be considered.

The 24 hour CQC registered service will be home to 3 adults living with mental health, learning disabilities and autism diagnosis and is due to open in September 2024 - staff training is to commence prior to opening. The team will provide various support to ensure the service users can live as independently as possible, engage with the local community and help them to engage in an active life, retain personal autonomy, social identity, meaning, purpose and achieve a positive sense of self.

It’s important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role. On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
