A Tier 1 Contractor based in Belfast is currently recruiting a Commercial Manager for their Civils Division. This company has been at the forefront of the construction industry for over 170 years, and has produced flagship projects across the UK and Ireland.Operating in the rail, marine, road, and renewable energy sectors, they have produced projects up to £150m in value. Due to continuing expansion, and the restructuring of the leadership team, this contractor is now recruiting a Commercial Manager to join their Civils Division in Belfast.
Your new role
Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of a number of projects across the UK and Ireland. Managing a team of surveyors from Graduate to Senior level, you will ensure profitability is protected, and the programme is adhered to under the terms of the contract.Due to the location of projects, UK travel will be required.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate must demonstrate that they have operated at a management level on large-scale civil projects. A background in contract administration, NEC, JCT, etc, is essential.
