Job Description
The Residential Property Legal Assistant will be:
- Assisting in post-completion tasks, including HMLR registrations and requisitions.
- Preparing and submitting Stamp Duty returns.
- Communicating with estate agents, lenders, borrowers, and other stakeholders.
- Requesting redemption figures and assisting with the preparation of sale contract packs.
- Ensuring all client files and documents are managed effectively and efficiently.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should be:
- An individual with 1-2 years of experience in residential property law or conveyancing.
- A strong understanding of post-completion tasks, including HMLR registration and requisitions.
- Able to manage multiple tasks effectively with excellent communication skills.
- Familiar with using legal case management software and Microsoft Office.
