A member of the Liberty Steel UK group of companies, Liberty Pipes Hartlepool is the UK’s only longitudinally submerged arc welded linepipe manufacturer. Our carbon steel linepipe is supplied to the energy and construction industries, both in the UK and worldwide.
This is an exciting time to join the team at LPH as we implement our long-term strategy to support new infrastructure projects associated with the Energy Transition within the UK and beyond.The successful applicant will be joining a company that has a world class manufacturing capability and a skilled workforce with a long history and global recognition.
We are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator to support successful planning, execution, and completion of projects, safely, on time, in budget and to the required quality standards, meeting customer expectations. This will include assisting in all day-to-day activities associated with contract delivery of product, on multiple projects, assisting in monitoring all aspects of production and client inspections to ensure that any issues are quickly resolved and managing strategic stocks, reporting, stock analysis, deliveries and client engagement.
Key duties include:- Assist in co-ordination of mill activities & delivery of finished product.
- Act as point of contact for visiting customer representatives.
- Monitor daily production throughout.
- Monitor product testing.
- Support preparation of progress reports & submit to clients.
- Co-ordinate client final inspections.
- Verify all relevant documents are available for client representatives.
- Assist in delivering HSE inductions to client representatives attending site.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective organisational skills coupled with a high attention to detail
- Ability to influence and persuade others at all levels
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel and other similar software packages
