Your Role
As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in assisting our skilled dentists, hygienists, and therapists in delivering high-quality care. You will:
Work in a fast-paced and rewarding clinical environment.Follow the British Association of Dental Nurses’ Code of Ethics and the GDC’s Scope of Practice.
Build strong, professional relationships within the dental team.
Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety.
Liaise with the practice manager regarding administration, pay, and service conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain a clean, well-equipped clinical environment.Carry out infection prevention and control procedures.
Record dental charting and oral tissue assessments accurately.
Maintain detailed, up-to-date patient records securely.
Prepare patients and equipment for dental radiography and process radiographs.
Support and reassure patients during their treatment.
Provide oral health advice to patients.
Assist in emergency situations to ensure patient safety and care.
What We’re Looking For
Right to work in the UK (Valid visa & National Insurance number).At least the first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
Proof of enrolment in an approved dental nursing course.
Strong organisation, focus, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
High infection control standards.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
