Trainee Dental Nurse

Salary: £15 per hour (Overtime rates vary)

Opening Times: 24 hours

John’s Wood, Belsize Park, West Hampstead, Kilburn, Edgware, Watford, and Golders Green.

As one of the few clinics open on weekends, we are dedicated to delivering world-class dentistry when it’s needed most. Our UK-qualified dentists are highly skilled and compassionate, offering rapid pain relief and expert treatment.

Joining us as a Trainee Dental Nurse means gaining hands-on experience in emergency dentistry, working alongside experienced professionals, and being part of an award-winning team. Your Role

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in assisting our skilled dentists, hygienists, and therapists in delivering high-quality care. You will:

Work in a fast-paced and rewarding clinical environment.
Follow the British Association of Dental Nurses’ Code of Ethics and the GDC’s Scope of Practice.
Build strong, professional relationships within the dental team.
Ensure high standards of infection control and patient safety.

Liaise with the practice manager regarding administration, pay, and service conditions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain a clean, well-equipped clinical environment.
Carry out infection prevention and control procedures.
Record dental charting and oral tissue assessments accurately.
Maintain detailed, up-to-date patient records securely.
Prepare patients and equipment for dental radiography and process radiographs.
Support and reassure patients during their treatment.
Provide oral health advice to patients.

Assist in emergency situations to ensure patient safety and care.

What We’re Looking For

Right to work in the UK (Valid visa & National Insurance number).
At least the first dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine.
Proof of enrolment in an approved dental nursing course.
Strong organisation, focus, and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional approach.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
High infection control standards.

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
