JOB TITLE: Cleaning Team Leader
LOCATION: Capital One, Nottingham
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week

PAY RATE: £12.33 per hour

ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE

Team leaders are responsible for assisting team members with Element usage, you are expected to have a good knowledge of the element auditing tool and be able to pass that onto team members who require assistance day to day.

In the absence of the supervisor, you are required to undertake the roles and responsibilities of the shift management, assigning the jobs for each shift, checking areas for completed work, maintaining the standard of work across all areas, assisting team members with help, complete shift tasks such as desk clearing, ensuring all T&A devices have been synced for Ontime and Element

You are responsible for the upkeep of cleaning cupboards and hoovers, weekly checks must be carried out on all hovers and cleaning cupboards, ensuring all hoovers are being used correctly, working order and stored in the correct place. Ensuring all cleaning cupboards are clean and tidy, all equipment present, and chemicals returned to the COSHH cupboard in the signing in cupboard, sign off for cupboards are being completed and replenished when full.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensuring all your work is completed to the expected high standard required by your manager.
  • Provide support and encouragement to your fellow team members.
  • Maintain a close relationship with the evening supervisor, take part in daily briefings with the evening supervisor to understand on a daily basis.
  • Report any concerns or feedback from the team members to your supervisor.
  • Maintain constant communication with your supervisor through the company issued radios.
  • Assist with delivery of training, toolbox talks and meetings
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Cleaning experience is essential.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, with good written and spoken English.
  • Basic IT skills is essential.
  • Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative.
  • Flexible and proactive attitude essential.
  • Understanding & knowledge of health and safety policies.
  • Needs to represent ABM values on site by being presentable, uniformed, and helpful always Willing to go the extra mile.
  • Experience of co-ordinating a range of tasks and individuals.
  • Always follow the Company Policies and procedures.
  • Confirm that those under their supervision have received training appropriate to their needs and that safety considerations are integrated into this training.
  • Ensure that the work environment and equipment are safe and well maintained.
  • Identify and correct hazardous conditions.
  • Monitor compliance with risk assessments, enforce the control measures and stop anyone who fails to comply.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • IOSHH Managing Working Safely.
  • First Aid Certificate.
