Job Description
Key duties and Responsibilities will include:Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection. Oversee employee onboarding and orientation.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee queries, mediate conflicts, and ensure a positive work environment.
Performance Management: Support performance appraisal processes, provide guidance to managers on setting objectives, and help employees achieve their full potential.
Compliance & Policies: Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies. Update and maintain employee handbooks and HR procedures.Training & Development: Identify training needs and organise development programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
Compensation & Benefits: Assist with salary reviews, benefits administration, and ensure competitive and equitable compensation.
HR Systems & Reporting: Maintain HR records, generate reports, and monitor key HR metrics to inform decision-making.
Employee Engagement: Foster employee engagement initiatives, track satisfaction levels, and help implement strategies to improve workplace morale.
Health & Safety: Support initiatives related to workplace safety and well-being.
The Successful Applicant
The successful HR Manager should have:
- Proven working experience in a similar Generalist HR role
- People oriented and results driven
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
