The Fleece Inn in West Yorkshire are recruiting for an Apprentice Commis Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Lvel 2 Catering and Hospitality which will take approximately 16 months to complete.
Duties:- Prepare food from fresh
- Following recipes and menu specifications
- Shadowing head chefs
- Baking desserts from fresh
- Bulk work, making pies and lasagnes
- Making sauces, soups and salad dressing
- Cooking meals and plating up
- General housekeeping of the kitchen
- Clean and hygienic
- Presentable
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to work under pressure
- Friendly and approachable
- Team working
- Able to take instructions
- Must have reliable transport due to no public transport links
- Desirable if you have Food Safety and Allergen awareness
Grades: No formal qualifications required.
Hours: 5 days a week / 35 hours a week / Earliest start is 7:30am - Latest is 21:30pm / 20 minutes every 6 hours (paid break)
