We are looking for experienced Staff Nurses to join our experienced nursing team in delivering high quality, patient centered care. We offer a wide range of post-graduation educational opportunities from our linked universities as well as an abundance of in house training courses.
Thomas Audley Ward is a 27 bedded general surgical ward.
As a Staff Nurse working on Thomas Audley Ward you will obtain specialist nursing skills and knowledge in looking after acutely unwell general medical and respiratory patients which will include those patients requiring Non Invasive Ventilation including CPAP and BIPAP and with Tracheostomies.
You need to have a passion in caring for the acutely unwell patient and thrive in an ever changing and challenging nursing environment. You should demonstrate excellent communication and team working skills and be able to effectively prioritize your workload in a busy clinical environment.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will practice within a team of nursing staff, and act as a ‘named nurse’ for a group of patients: assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating their care needs. The postholder will not require direct supervision and will be expected to co-ordinate a ward / area providing direction to junior staff.
