EMEA Sales Strategy and Operations Manager - Specialist Sales

As an EMEA Sales Strategy & Operation Manager for the Specialist Sales Organization, you will partner with the EMEA Specialist Sales leadership as well as Sales Strategy & Ops leaders in all EMEA regions to help grow adoption for strategic AWS domains and services.
You will leverage your strong analytical capabilities to define data-driven recommendations from in depth analysis of the internal and external factors of performance of the business and implement it through tight integration into AWS Business Planning processes (OP1/OP2) across AWS EMEA's nine Areas.
You will monitor the success of the Specialist organization through close business inspection, leveraging and continuously improving reporting and business telemetry in close collaboration with the WW Specialist organization and the BI & Analytics team, contributing to monthly business reviews, identify gaps to plan / opportunities for upside and assign associated action plans to sales team to close the gaps / opportunities.

You will own and continuously improve critical processes for the success of the Specialist organization (opportunity management, productivity improvement, process alignment with field sales...).

You should be passionate about working with data, developing and owning analytics to unlock growth potential and drive execution of sales strategy with a scalable and actionable approach. You should have a keen eye to identify inefficiencies in sales process and drive actionable and measurable improvement.

You should have a strong track record of earning trust with and influencing senior sales executives. You will also need to be comfortable working in a highly complex matrix organization with high ambiguity and quickly shifting priorities. This position will collaborate effectively with internal end-users and cross-functional teams (Sales, BI & Analytics, Solution Architects, Business Development...) to deliver successfully against high standards.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

The ISV Solutions Architect team is part of the global Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
  • Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  • Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
  • Experience presenting to senior leadership
