Safety Team Member / Night Security Officer
Location:Bristol West
Hours and Rota: 42.5 hours per week. Safety Team Members work 5 night shifts out of 7 between the hours of 10pm and 7am, working from Saturday to Wednesday. Shift pattern variations may apply.
Salary: £31,254 per annum, plus bonus and benefits.
The role
Join uS and be part of our friendly team as a Night Security Officer (known as Student Safety Team member here at Unite). Your top priorities will be ensuring the safety of our students and employees, whilst delivering excellent customer service.From responding to emergencies, handling disputes and making our students feel at home, no two nights will be the same!
As a Safety Team Member you will have the opportunity to make a real impact at work, enriching lives with meaningful interactions.
What you`ll be doing as a Safety Team Member:
- Patrolling multiple properties to keep our students and employees safe
- Acting as the first response to incidents and emergencies
- Helping students who are locked out of their rooms
- Providing outstanding customer service to our students
- Reporting on incidents electronically
What we`re looking for in you:
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Calm under pressure, approachable and fair
- Bonus points if you have SIA license or background in security
- Confident working alone and comfortable working as part of a team
