We are seeking to appoint a passionate and inspirational practitioner to join our dedicated Performing Arts team. As a United Learning academy, we collaborate with departments locally and across the country. We have played our part in contributing to comprehensive scheme of work which are shared across the academy trust providing significant support with lessons planning.In addition, we have developed a rigorous and structured teaching and learning policy which alongside high-quality weekly subject CPD, helps teachers rapidly optimise their teaching ensuring we get the most out of every minute of our students’ time.
Performance opportunities are central to the department’s vision, providing students with memorable experiences that extend beyond the classroom and remain with them into adult life. Our ensembles have previously performed at prestigious venues including the Royal Opera House, the Royal Festival Hall, Wembley Stadium, and the O2 Arena, London.
The successful candidate will work within a dedicated suite of specialist facilities, including three fully equipped music classrooms, a recording studio, two ensemble rooms, and four individual practice rooms. These purpose-built spaces support a broad and ambitious curriculum, performance opportunities, and high-quality practical music-making.
